Link to Directories is something that if you read forums or sites that talk about SEO or link development you will hear that they are dying and that is not good anymore like is used to be. One thing that I can tell you is that it's kind of true that directories are dying and that some of them don't have that much value as they used to have but let me tell you one thing for sure, a link to your site is a link to your site. If you find a directory that talks about related stuff to your site then go ahead and add your link to that directory because it doesn't matter if it doesn't give you that much PR on your page but you will get traffic that are looking for related stuff to your site so this mean that you could get not only an indexed page from a search engine faster but also traffic to your site.

There still directories out there that they will help you with PR on your site but this one are the ones that they been around for a while and they will cost you a lot so you can add or submit your site to their directory. The reason why the directories are dying is because a lot of people tried to use the directory as a money maker without considering that directories are or should be a place where people go and find something related to what they are looking for. A lot of

directories that were a money machines don't even have any related to the categories that they have and this is bad because why do you want to go or pay for something that is not going to bring the right traffic or people that you want in your site?

Directories even that they are dying you shouldn't see that way because what google and other search engines are doing is making sure that directories have the right related links and content to their categories so the users can find what they are looking for. Don't discard this option of submitting your site to a directory since like I said before a link is a link that this link could convert into traffic to your site and not just for

spider bots. Just make sure before you add or buy a link in a directory check if this site have the right content and is not a link directory that is trying to make money instead of getting the right traffic.
